Supporting our community during COVID 19, one lasagna at a time.
Recently we had the pleasure of working on a mortgage for a client who is an emergency room nurse. When we got to know them and what they do in detail, we were inspired by their hard and difficult work — especially during this pandemic.
We wanted to do something nice for them.
Well, this spiraled into a larger initiative, as it was so well received. We decided to send lasagnas to our friends and clients all over the city. We hand-delivered (with gloves on, of course) over 100 lasagnas to our clients and friends.
We were so happy to see the joy that it brought to each client.
“Thank you for the lasagna from bar Buca – it was delicious and we really enjoyed it! Great way to do something nice whilst supporting local businesses during these unprecedented times. Much appreciated!” – Marianne and Peter
We decided to take it further and show our utmost gratitude to the front-line workers, so we reached out to Mount Sinai Hospital. The program provided free meals to frontline hospital staff who have worked so tirelessly to keep us safe.
What started as a feel-good mission to give back has now become a joint effort with Buca to make a larger impact in our communities.
We are all dealing with the uncertainty and the effects of COVID 19; during this time, we must stick together. At Cannect, we have always been about delivering the unexpected, and now we are doing it by delivering lasagna.
If you know someone who could use a little cheer added to their life, send us an email or reach out to us on social and we will be sure to include them in our next lasagna delivery.
With gratitude — The Cannect Team
